Position: Junior Web Analyst at Wirestone

As a Wirestone Web Analyst you’ll have the opportunity to jump into one of the fastest growing & dynamic online industries. You’ll get to help our clients answer key questions about what’s happening (or should happen) or their sites. And because you’re as comfortable around people as you are around data, you’ll have no problem jumping right in and contributing to the cross-functional teams that make it happen.

Junior Web Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Support senior analysts and other business units with various projects
  • Generate and automate key metric reports and dashboards
  • Generate reports from qualitative and quantitative data sources, ensuring that team members have the information necessary to make informed business, marketing and sales decisions
  • Create page tagging strategies and write implementation guides
  • Configure and customize various Web analytics tools to meet client business reporting needs
  • Implement SEO site updates & research keywords
  • Assist in the review and design of third-party Web analytic solutions
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations for client meetings
  • Work independently to meet multiple project deadlines
  • Handle multiple tasks, switching priorities and focus as needed
  • Conduct unit testing for tagging strategies and participate in quality assurance
  • Administer Web Analytics server environments, perform upgrades, trouble shoot server issues

Junior Web Analyst Skills:

  • Passion for detail with a track record demonstrating initiative and drive
  • 1-2 years of work experience with Web analytics, metrics, and online marketing is a plus but if you have a strong technical bent we’re willing to train
  • Experience with, or keen interest in learning, one or more Web analytic tools (Omniture, NetInsight, or WebTrends, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Understanding of Web analytic reporting procedures using log files and page tagging
  • Knowledge or experience with JavaScript, HTML, FTP, SQL, MS Excel, content management systems, ecommerce, and Web servers (e.g., IIS, Apache) desired
  • Ability to learn and adapt to evolving conditions and fluid requirements are criteria for success
  • A strong interest in business and marketing as well as learning new technologies and marketing solutions
  • Troubleshooting skills and critical thinking ability
  • Previous marketing/advertising agency experience is a plus
  • BA or BS degree (or the equivalent combination of education and experience)
